Government Event Services has provided event planning services for Alaska’s Science of Reading Symposium since its inception in 2022. The level of attention and expertise provided by the staff at GES has allowed Region 16 Comprehensive Center and Alaska Department of Education and Early Development to host more than 1,000 educators annually at a world-class in-person event, with attendee feedback consistently commending the quality of every aspect of the event. The project managers at GES have aided us in thinking through every detail necessary to make this massive three-day event run like clockwork. The programming support, event design, and space decor provided by GES have garnered compliments from our attendees at each symposium, with nationally-recognized presenters repeatedly noting that Alaska’s symposium rivals national conferences in every way. We appreciate the professionalism of the GES team and acknowledge there is simply no way we could plan and host an event of this magnitude without their partnership.
